On the evening of March 24th, the Winston Chapter of the National Honor Society held a ceremony to induct its newest members into the organization. National Honor Society (or NHS) is a nationally recognized organization that partners with the National Association of Secondary School Principals to recognize those students in schools who exemplify the characteristics of Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service. Only a small percentage of high school students nationwide are inducted into the organization.
This year, NHS inducted Drew Neth, Maggie Farrell, Thea Nelson, Ashley Noel, and Austin Rhoades. The inductees were honored at a brief ceremony and reception held in front of family and friends in the school cafeteria. NHS is sponsored by Ms. Abigail Yohn and Ms. Linda Littrell. Congratulations to all members and their families.
