FFA OUT AND ABOUT

16 members of the Winston FFA Chapter attended the Hundley-Whaley FFA Ag Science Day in Albany, MO on Thursday September 15th.  Students were able to listen to guest speakers on various Ag topics including agronomy, conservation, technology, and machinery, and some students were brave enough to reach into the rumen compartment of a live dairy cow's stomach.  Students had a very good learning experience and were able to see many of the concepts they have learned about in the classroom applied in a "real-life" setting.  Clubs like FFA are one of the many reasons why:  It is a Great Day to be a Redbird!
